Paula Patton

Paula Patton is an actress and producer who is best known for her roles as a lead actress in the action-spy film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the film drama Precious. At the age of a girl her mother raised her in an Los Angeles middle-class household. Instilling a passion for film in her daughter was a skill that she was taught by her mother, who was also a fan of movies. Paula was active with her school's cocurricular activities and especially awed of dramatics. Paula loved acting with friends and participated in school productions. She was a part of numerous productions at her high school Hamilton Magnet Arts High School which led her to choose acting as a profession. She was in The University of Southern California's summer camp, and loved the experience to death. She won a three-month assignment making documentaries for PBS. Following the successful completion of the project her first job was as a TV assistant documentary production. Then, she switched into producing documentaries. Though she enjoyed her job, she still wanted to become an actor. She began her acting career through a tiny role in the film romantic comedy Hitch with Will Smith. She has since appeared in many popular movies and television programs.
